Maybe you need a brain organizer, or a reality checker, or a reaction approver, or a crisis stabilizer, or an existential dread container. Maybe you need a partner and witness as you confront difficult experiences or mourn losses. Maybe you feel stuck and don't know why. Or you are struggling with the disruption and distress of anxiety or depression. Or feel ready to dive into personal exploration and growth.
Whatever the reason you might be seeking therapy, you deserve to be heard and supported.
Although individual therapy is focused on your specific needs and goals, my approach uses themes of acceptance, self-compassion, and our shared human experience to structure our work together. Often the behaviors and feelings that we feel indicate a problem, are no more than reasonable human reactions. Together, we can unpack the baggage we all carry, get comfortable with the messiness of it all, and make space for new thoughts, feelings, and intentionality in our life.
